Civics in Action: Can They Do That?
Join us for this free workshop on Tuesday, May 13, 6:45-8 PM., Grosse Pointe Library – Woods Branch. Register here
- This meeting will focus on the civics you may have forgotten, specifically, the concept of “checks and balances.”
- After reviewing some basic principles of the relationship among our three branches of government, we will look at some recent headlines and ask:
- How is the process working?
- How can we more fully understand the news?
