Lost in the Woods Art Festival
August 5, 12 pm-8 pm – Salter Memorial Park
Our members created a wonderful booth to showcase the work of our league at the second annual Lost in the Woods Art Festival in Harper Woods.
Members joined Julianne and Jaime to help staff a shift at the table or enjoyed the art, music, food, and community.
From our Voter Services Director, Julianne:
“In the Grosse Pointe News (July 20, 2023), there was an article on the Lost in the Woods art festival. I have provided the link to the article. The following sentence was music to my ears.
‘Forty local fine artists, independent food vendors, businesses and community organizations – providing information on sustainable gardening, ecology, voters’ rights and other topics – will be on hand.’ “
